Melissa contacted me this winter to do a “Trash the Dress” session–without getting the dress dirty. We were both very excited about the session. It finally happened yesterday and we had SO much fun!!! My Friend Michelle, who works at  Panopoulos salon here in Holland, did an awesome job on Melissa’s hair. Melissa, I had so much fun and your hubby was great too!!!

Oh my! SO, I have a hard time putting into words how I feel about adoption. I have wanted to adopt a child since…really, for as long as I could remember. And we still are thinking about it. Whenever I get the chance to photograph a new family and newly adopted child, it does something to me. It’s weird. I can almost feel the love pouring out of them. The expression on their faces are so real and show so much joy! If I really was thinking while I was “shooting” I am pretty sure I would cry happy tears.

This family was AWESOME! So NICE, and so joyful, thankful, sweet, loving…need I go on?!?! They were awesome, and I could feel it. They are so in love with their little girl. I felt so honored to take their first family picture together.

Lee Ann got my name from Karla (from the session before), and contacted me about an “anytime” session. Just the two of them. I LOVE that!! I wish sometimes that my husband and I would have done that more, before we had out beautiful girls.

They were awesome! SO much fun, and Lee Ann was so excited–that makes me so happy!! Thanks for the session Lee Ann and Jeff. I had a great time with you both.

Well hello there, blog world! I am back again. I didn’t forget about this poor blog,  a little busy. And to be completely honest, it’s so much easier to upload pictures to my Facebook Fan page. So, I am going to do a little “catch up” here.

This is Chad and Karla. They are such a cute couple and so nice!! It was FREEZING the day we had taken these pictures….no, like, freeezing! At one point during the session poor Karla had goosebumps and was shaking. What a trooper they both were. And they don’t even look cold. Here are some photos from the shoot.

Babies. Love them! I love the smell of  babies that were just bathed. So yummy! Almost makes me want another one. Anyway, Look at this little honey. She was so precious, so quite, so amazing. She slept pretty much the entire time. She had a little accident, but that was to be expected. Here are a few from our session…

How cute are they?!?! Seriously…it’s almost over the limit of cuteness. I so wish I looked this good when I was pregnant…goodness. They were so cute, ans seriosly, they worked it! They were moving, like they had done this before. Thank Nikki and Kyle for the great evening. I hope you enjoy the preview.

This is my BFF Michelle. I just love this girl, she is so awesome and such a geat friend. We have regular coffee dates together, and it’s just so much fun. My girls just adore her too. They think she is pretty cool.  We have had a lot of good times together over the years. I can always count on her. BTW, how cute is she?!?!

Brr…IT was sooo cold the day we did Cristina’s outdoor photos. Cristina was such a trooper.You can’t even tell that we were freezing during the shoot. Cristina is such a sweetheart. So kind, so sweet, so polite, I just loved her. Not only that, but look how pretty she is, and SMART! Oh and, I just have to share, this girl can twist her hair, insert a bobbi pin, and make it look amazing…oh yeah, and BTW, she didn’t have a mirror. I was like, “what?!?!” Crazy, anyway, here are a few shots from her shoot. Thanks Cristina!!

This family is so awesome. I have been taking their photos for a while, and it’s so fun to watch the girls grow. I think this might have been the first year that we did a family photo too, which was fun. I usually just take some pictures of the girls, so it was nice to get mom and dad in the pictures. Not only are they are a beautiful family, but they are SO sweet. Thanks N family for the great shoot, it was so fun!

Ok, is this girl beautiful or what?!?! Her eyes are so amazing. We had a blast at the shoot and I totally called out a fall that I was going to take. I told her, I will probably fall by the end of the shoot. Sure enough, I fell down a couple of stairs. Oh man, yes…I am awesome. I think I fall at almost every shoot. Thank you Cortnie for the awesome shoot…..and not laughing too hard at me when I fell.
